Negroamaro Rosato Salice Salentino DOP
The rosè wines represent a sort of buttonhole for the oenological Puglia “Renaissance” and the rosè from Negroamaro, in particular way, have contributed to it with some prestigious wines.
Rosarò, the best wine in Italy in 2018, is one of these but also one of the few in Salento having a Denomination of Origin Controlled. It has a peach pink colour, crystalline, with an extraordinary brightness. Intriguing in the nose, with pleasant hints of red fruits, Mediterranean scrub, aromatic herbs and anise. The taste is soft, balanced and persistent. Dynamic final with citrus fruits and balsamic hints.

Diecianni Verdeca IGP Salento is an elegant and unique wine produced by the Feudi di Guagnano winery and is obtained from the best bunches of verdeca produced in the countryside of Guagnano in the most important wine-growing center of Salento. The grapes are grown with the espalier system from plants that are between 25 and 40 years old with a yield of about 5000 vines per hectare with a production of bottles per hectare equal to 10,000. Once the grapes have been harvested and pressed with soft pressing, the must is fermented at a controlled temperature in steel vats.

The Diecianni Verdeca is a wine that presents in the glass fruity fragrances of citrus and exotic fruit. A great freshness is present in a good acidity and a character, balance and finesse is also expressed.

Diecianni Negroamaro is a wine produced by the Feudi di Guagnano winery from Negroamaro grapes grown in espalier in the countryside of Guagnano. The grapes are harvested in the last week of September, and after being de-stemmed, they are macerated for 10 days at a temperature of 26 ° C. After the fermentation phase the wine rests for 6 months in oak barrels of first and second passage and finally is further aged for 3 months in the bottle.

Diecianni Negroamaro is a wine with an intense red color with marked aromas of plum and cherry. In the mouth it has a soft and balanced taste with floral notes of violet. It is an ideal wine to serve with meat or vegetable first courses and with stewed meat, or meatballs with sauce.

CUPONE Salice Salentino Riserva (DOP Rosso) is a red wine of particular brightness and consistency. Produced by the Feudi di Guagnano winery from vineyards located in the Guagnano area. It has an austere and unique character obtained from the blend of Negroamaro grape and Black Malvasia grape.

CUPONE Salice Salentino DOP Rosso Riserva is bottled only in years that guarantee exceptional quality. Its name derives from the district Cupone which is perhaps the most mysterious place of the fief of Guagnano. The toponym Cupone probably originates from the particularity of the soil rich in depressions, chasms and underground rivers. For the production of this wine, Negroamaro and Black Malvasia grapes are used, produced by 50-year-old sapling plants grown in medium-textured soils in the countryside of Guagnano. The harvest is done manually in the second decade of September and the grapes macerate and ferment for two weeks. The resulting wine is aged for 24 months of which 12 months in 5hl French oak barrels.
